We're ready to support the upcoming Pharmacy Contraception Service

We’ve already been working with pharmacies on the NHS Tier 1 Pilot to ensure Pharmacy Services delivers fast, efficient service recording, integrated with NHS MYS to support automated claiming. We’ll be going live in-line with the NHS service launch to ensure you can start delivering and claiming for the service straight away.

So, we have also addressed this by providing integration with key NHS services like the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal, facilitating automated claiming and automatically sending updates into patient GP records.

Valuable data captured when recording services is stored and can be processed into insights that improve both patient care and your pharmacy business performance. New Services

Starting with CPCS, Pharmacy Services is rapidly expanding and now supports NMS, Flu Vaccine, Contraception Service (when launched by NHS) and with the Hypertension Case-Finding Service available to pharmacies very shortly. 

The Pharmacy Contraception Service

The Pharmacy Contraception Service is an advanced service aimed at providing people greater choice and access when considering continuing their current form of contraception. As part of the 5-year Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) NHS England commenced a pilot in 2021 involving pharmacies offering repeat supplies of oral contraception to people who had previously had the product prescribed.
