Automatically populating Directions on Prescriptions

You may have missed it, but Pharmacy Manager customers can now utilise a new feature which will automatically populate the directions from a prescription onto Pharmacy Manager’s Dispensing module.
Not only will this reduce re-keying effort by eradicating the need to manually copy directions, but it will also reduce potential transcription errors and mistakes.

And the best news? It will also work alongside any existing Trusted Directions to ensure that the prescription is populated correctly every time based on your configured preferences. For more information about how to enable and use this feature, view the Pharmacy Manager 14.5 Release Guide on the Help Centre. This can be accessed quickly and easily from within Pharmacy Manager.

Additionally, some highlights from the latest Pharmacy Manager releases include:

• Editing stock values against products identified as Low/Excess/Dead Stock and Often Owed
• PDF/CSV exports identifying Low/Excess/Dead Stock and Often Owed products
• Viewing CPCS referrals live in the Pharmacy Manager Dashboard (Pharmacy Services only)
